ELEGIA

People searching for their identity in an era of vertigo and confusion. Individuals tracing new trajectories and attempting to find their way back to normality after being exiled from it. This is a tale of lost moments and relationships, of familiar images and landscapes sought in memory. It is a dreamlike journey to rediscover oneself, a choral dance of intertwining lines in primordial chaos until calm, hope, and the possibility of rebirth return, celebrating care and attention towards others, amplified by the poems of Mariangela Gualtieri.

BALLADE

Mauro Bigonzetti’s new creation for the MM Contemporary Dance Company is a collective tribute to the 1980s — a symbol of an era. It is a narrative told through musical imagery that recaptures lost sensations, euphoria, and dreams, celebrating a way of life, vitality, and artistic creativity. Performed by the MMCDC dancers, the choreography draws inspiration from Prince, Frank Zappa, Leonard Cohen, CCCP, and Pier Vittorio Tondelli, creating a space of memory and emotion. It is a journey through pain, love, abandonment, and rebirth in search of a renewed collective beauty.
